     حشمت تائب( ۱۹۵۰م) متولد بغلان افغانستان - تحصیلات ابتدایی وعالی را در بغلان و متعاقبن تحصیلاتش را تا سطح ماستری در زراعت انجام داده است. خدمات پیوسته از سال۱۹۷۰ بدیسو با مطبوعات و رادیو تلویزیون كشور داشته است.

      به‌قول خودش «من با زبان  طبیعت و مردم زیسته و اندیشیده ام و شعر من بازتاب آن طبیعت است،  از همه گویش‌ها، پندار‌ها و روان سیلان و پر‌جوشی که در متن مردم است، متاثر بوده‌ام.

     پدرم ابراهیم حیرت از نخبگان و شاعران دوران مشروطیت بودند. اصول و قواعد شعر را از کودکی از ایشان آموختم - سرزمین سرسبزبغلان، باغ‌ها وجویبارها، مردم پرمهر، فضای رویش و دهقانی، زمینه کتاب خوانی در ایام جوانی ۱۹۵۰-۱۹۷۰م.، طبع مرا با الهام از شعر می‌پرورد، آنچه می‌نوشتم پدرم اصلاح و ویرایش می‌کردند.

     نشر این مجموعه که قسمتی از آثارمنست و به‌دست صاحبنظران می‌افتد، به نوعی بیان نوستالژیک ذهن من در دو دهه اخیر بوده وبمثابه خشتی بر بنیاد احساسم گذاشته می‌شود، چه بسا که بزرگواران نقادانه با آن برخورد بفرمایند، خیلی برایم نشاط‌ انگیز است»
